steve.brodie Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Lumion has a neat cross section geometry tool. We can do it with camera clipping but it needs to be independent of camera and on certain geometry only. 1
manguste Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Well, there's an issue is with intersections, but it can be done. Added to the requested features list (no ETA, though, as the list is looong enough).
nat.harrold Posted April 18, 2012 Posted April 18, 2012 This would be a great flexible feature. It is a powerful visualisation tool and has the added benifit of being able to be a brute force optimisation through occlussion; not having to just occlude individual objects but a better occluder as it can cut through large single meshes.
manguste Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Still in the feature list (: Though not sure how you see it as a brute force optimisation in detail, but the general idea is clear.
steve.brodie Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 It looks like this feature in now possible, with the non orthogonal clipping planes feature. Now to work out how to implement it.
