Rob Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 I created a cave and now when I place the cave underneath my terrain (under a mountain) the omni light stops working Only when you move the camera inside the radius of the omni light the lighting will appear, I tried various settings of the distance but nothing seems to help As soon as I move the cave above the terrain the omni light starts working again Anyone knows what might be going wrong?
manguste Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Can't reproduce it; omni lights and terrain do not interfere with each other. Please, send us a small test scene.
Rob Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 It must have been the occluder of the terrain which was causing this, now that the mask of the occluder is updated the problem seems to be gone It does flicker occasionally (a one/two time flicker when moving towards it) but this could also be happening because of the volume fog were using
