Rob Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I just tried the terrain_mesh_base material to see if I could use it as a cave entrance but I get very different texture results than my terrain I think this is because it doesnt have the same options as my terrain textures, im using overlap mode for all my terrain textures but the terrain_mesh_base material doesnt have any overlap option So doesnt this material need this option to really get the same texture result as the terrain material?
Rob Posted April 27, 2012 Author Posted April 27, 2012 The mesh_overlap_base has a simular problem, the normal of the diffuse is seen through the overlapping material even tho the overlapping material should be on top would be great if there was an option to really make it overlap and ignore the normal map values

I just dont get the materials to show up in the same way as the overlapping materials of my terrain I think the detail materials need the exact same parameters as the terrain detail material in order to get this to work
