[SOLVED] resource editor is not loading on windows 7

Hi it seems that i have a problem to open the resource editor, it starts loading but then doesn t respond.

What version of SDK do you use and how do you launch resource editor?

right now i was trying with the newest one... 2013-02-11, but ever since the last years june updates am having this issue, some times was loading but would take a very long time. I usually install the tools with the .exe file provided, other times i launch the browser.bat from the downloaded file system and try to launch through the browser tools tab. Either way is not loading at all in the versions after june last year i think...

OpenGL driver is required for correct work of ResourceEditor and FlashViewer.

 

Please, update your GPU driver to the latest with OpenGL support.

i am trying to run it on a laptop with gtx560m gpu, and the latest released drivers, support for opengl 4.3....basically when the resource editor starts i get a black screen and the program is not responding.

the resource editor from the 14/06/2012 update starts just fine, it is with the later versions that i noticed the problem.

any other suggestions on this... as i am saying i can work fine with a previous version but have had a problem with versions after that... what would the difference be... it can t b my drivers.... thanks...:)

There was a lot of changes in OpenGL code, ResourceEditor works in OpenGL mode only.

Please update your video drivers.

ok i was in DirectX11 mode, works for OpenGL....cheers...... :P
