werner.poetzelberger Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Hello, I wanted to assign a hole texture to a terrain. I chose the wrong format first, so the terrain disppeared. It took me some attempts to get the right format. After assigning a R8 texture, Unigine crashed. Now, when loading the world, the terrain is gone. When I try to load the terrain file via Terrain-->load, I get this message: (see attach). The actual .ter file is empty and has a zero kB size. It is just a testworld I am working in. If this happens in a real project I would be screwed I guess? Is there a way to recover the terrain (with all the mods I did, material etc.) B.w.
sebastianbah Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Hello, We confirmed this issue and passed it to our devs. For now, the way to recover the terrain is to save changes in terrain before assigning the hole texture and do the "world_reload" command after assigning the wrong texture format. Sorry for the inconvenience.
