ruofeng.hu Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Hello, there are two questions about cameraPath: 1. For camera view switch effect(like Tropics and Heaven does), is making use of exported camera path from 3dsMax the only way to achieve it? 2. If we use CameraPath in outdoor scene, do we have to set up the layout scene in 3dsMax first? And then how to deal with the coordinates calculation of single objects between 3dsMax and Unigine? As for demo City, is every single building set up in Unigine instead of seting up its coordinates in 3dsMax?
ruofeng.hu Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 Hello, Could anyone can help for those questions?
steve3d Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 你可以直接用3dsmax的坐标系, 也可以在cameraPath上加一个全局的offset vector. 所以, 你要先在3dsmax里建好整个场景。
binstream Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 We use the following trick: assemble the scene in UnigineEditor from any meshes, then export all geometry into a single mesh (see screenshot), open it in 3D editor and create a camera path.
ruofeng.hu Posted December 13, 2010 Author Posted December 13, 2010 a very useful trick! Thanks a lot!
