danni.coy Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 although Blender is in the title it isn't application specific and covers a lot of topics in a very concise manor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OONQzKcWeMY 1
danni.coy Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Which leads to the follow up question - what basis are tangent space normal maps in for Unigine? Also any plans for derivative maps in unigine?
frustum Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 ResourceEditor is a better tool for precision normalmap creation because of tangent space specific. There are no differences in tangent space calculations. But the final result can be a little bit different when the normalmap is taken in 3rd-party tool. We have no plans according to derivative maps.
