christian.shiel Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I can't figure out how to paint grass manually. I have a grass object. I create an empty mask texture then go to edit terrain select mask then I paint but the mask texture isn't changing or updating.
silent Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Hi Christian, I paint but the mask texture isn't changing or updating. Do you paint with ALT + Mouse1? How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
christian.shiel Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 Yes I tried alt+mouse1. I don't know where else it can go wrong?
christian.shiel Posted October 31, 2013 Author Posted October 31, 2013 Does grass object have to be a child object of Terrain?
ulf.schroeter Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Maybe best idea is to provide a small test scene (*.world+ all textures) so UNIGINE crew could check if they can paint the mask without problems

necris Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Hi Christian,If your test scene is small (less than 50 Mb) - you can attach it to message on forum. In other case - you can upload it on our ftp (please check your PM).
necris Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Christian,You need to create per-surface blank mask textures ("Terrain" tab -> "Mask: Create" button)https://developer.unigine.com/en/docs/1.0/principles/objects/terrain/terrain_options#mask
