werner.poetzelberger Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Hi. attached an image of a camera, which shows a large array of objects, whith shadow underneath. As our camera is moving (from eyeheigt up to birds eye view) we have a very visible seam (seams) of the shadow splits. Is this normal? can we get rid of them, or did we mess some of the parametrs? best. Werner
sebastianbah Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Hi Werner,I'm afraid we can't reproduce such behavior on your previous sample. So, if you could send us a sample without script logic where we can find the issue it would be very helpful.
werner.poetzelberger Posted July 23, 2014 Author Posted July 23, 2014 okok. Good idea to look at the version I sent, as this is an older one, without the bunch of later updates. As our camera logic got more complicated, there has been an animation of several parameters, which didnt play well together with the current settings. I reanimated them and it seems that I got rid of those seams in between thesplits. It mainly was a bad combination of world.shadow distribution and shadow.distance. The shadow.distance was much too big as well the distribution. I narrowed them dow. It seems to work so far. Fingers crossed - But again, it doesnt seem to be a technical issue, rather a settings issue within OUR project. Cheers Werner
