steve.brodie Posted January 7, 2011 Posted January 7, 2011 I think artists would get much better results instantly if Unigine included some really nice base materials as part of the editor. eg glass, concrete, bricks, ocean water, pond water, chrome, aluminium, asphalt (road), sand, grass. We have just been testing another package called Lumion and because their glass is so awesome (also their sky/clouds are amazing) we are able to get great looking scenes in about 10 mins. Image attached. That said it is a very limited program, but we really wish Unigine could provide some of their basic environental (cloud), material and camera setups.

Have a look into UNIGINE material libraries for provided samples Heaven, Tropics, Sanctury, OilRush. There are plenty of re-usable material/effect resources. Apart from that some UNIGINE provided higher-level thematic node/material libraries for sure would be great !
binstream Posted January 8, 2011 Posted January 8, 2011 I've looked at "cool materials" pack in UDK so yes, we definitely need something like this. I'll ask our artists to prepare the pack.
binstream Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Done! Here you are: https://developer.unigine.com/forum/topic/290-content-library/
