Tu.Xiaomi Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 it must render 700km X 700km, once. will ungine can render the terrain like proland?
silent Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Hi, There is no spherical earth support in Unigine, so there might be issues when you will have an empry area in viewport (where your terrain ended). Also, for 10km camera height you might have to tune light scattering parameters. What exactly do you mean by "will ungine can render the terrain like proland?"? Thanks! binstream Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 Thanks to the light scattering algorithm the horizon curvature is simulated when you place the camera to high altitude.
Tu.Xiaomi Posted November 28, 2014 Author Posted November 28, 2014 you mean I can't see the real skyline in ungine terrain system?
binstream Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 There is a skyline in UNIGINE: http://www.ai3d.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Panorama_3-1920x438.jpg
