jlee Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Trying to construct a cloud using billboards. I've created a simple 10 segment sphere (for a container) using 3DS max and exported it as a .mesh. Created a billboards object then pointed the Generator to use the sphere.mesh bound object. When I click Create, in the generator, I get an error that states, "Can't Load ".../environment/sphere.mesh" bounding mesh". The console also produces an error that states, "Mesh::info_mesh(): Wrong magic 0x3131736d in "../sphere.mesh" file Is there something going wrong with the export from 3DS max? I've included a pic of my settings during export Running Unigine editor V1. Thank you for your help!
jlee Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 Figured it out. was using the newer 2.0 alpha exporter with the V1 editor. Solved.
