If I change min visibility to anything else than -inf, decal is not rendered. If I change max visibility, it has no effect, it is rendered all the time. I was testing this in Port Angeles demo on shadow_of_forest decal. Bug? Feature?
silent Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Hi Jirka, Currently there is a known issue with a Max Visible parameter for decals. For example, if current Max visible distance is set to 200 and camera is 150 units far from decal, changing Max visible value from 200 to 50 and back to 200 will give you no decal rendering at all (until you will change the distance between camera and decal to 50). If I change min visibility to anything else than -inf, decal is not rendered. If I change max visibility, it has no effect, it is rendered all the time. Probably, it is related to the big decal bound. We will try to find out what happening here. You can try to check built-in sample from data/samples/decals - there is no such problem with much smaller in size decals. Thanks!
