renato.semadeni Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Hi there, I was wondering how the setWGSOrigin from the geoTransform script is connected to the landscape. Is the WGS origin were are defining in scripting linked to one of the corners of the landscape or to the anchor point of the landscape? Kind regards, Renato
unclebob Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Renato, my friend! Glad to see you our forum again! WGS origin depends on how you organize your imagery data. It could be one of the corners of the terrain if you know terrain's geo coordinates at that point. However, as we still have flat terrain I suggest you to set wgs origin at the center of the landscape in order to minimize the error.
renato.semadeni Posted August 4, 2015 Author Posted August 4, 2015 Hi Andrey Thanks a lot, nice to get supported by you! =) I'm wondering why you created an offset in the washington scenery and did not the same for the port angeles. Was this due to the imagery data? Kind regards, Renato
unclebob Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Renato, That's because these two places are in different geographical places and have different WGS coordinates.
