Simon.Anderson Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 So I loaded the sample scene cluster_00 in unigine 2.0 vs previous version (2013 version). I then increased the number of meshes in the scene to ~500000. Both old and latest versions of unigine had the exact same a frame rate (3-4fps). Is this expected? I thought there were going to be some major speedups in the next release.
necris Posted October 12, 2015 Posted October 12, 2015 Hello Simon, Sorry for late reply. Yes, this is expected behaviour for clusters. Actually, performance growth (1.0 vs 2.0) is strongly depends from the details, like number of light sources in the scene or using more capable GPUs. Also can you tell us which GPU & CPU do you use?
