werner.poetzelberger Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Hi, We have a water object with waves. When moving the camera closer to the waters surface, the water object is not filling the whole image any more. This is rising and falling with the wave's motion. So sometimes it is filling, sometimes not. The clipping of the camera has no effect (its not the near clipping plane) It seems more to be, that the water object becomes too small for the viewport size. Can you pls help on that. Thx. Werner
demostenes Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Wehave found some other issues with water, from some angle you can see bottom of ocean.
silent Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Hi Werner, If you can provide us a minimal test scene with configured ObjectWater it would be very helpful in debugging. Right now we are also trying to reproduce it in our test projects, but without success. Thanks! How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
werner.poetzelberger Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 Hey, Silent. I have solved the issue by just adjusting the near clipping plane. (I actually moved it away from the camera!) This then ignores the waves under the camera, so that the seam disappears! Sry for that!(I uploaded a file anyway). Best. Werner
