Truble in Win 8, 10

Hi. Our application has some errors on windows 8 and windows 10 OS. Here screenshot from it.

There must be colored models, but, how you can see, its black. What can I do to correct it.

Hi Igor,

 

Can it be reproduced with any sample from the SDK Browser? If not, could you please send us a smal test scene and engine log file (log.html in bin directory) so we can check it on our Windows 8.1 / Windows 10 test stand?

 

Right now it is not possible to say what is going on in that case. It can be the driver issue or specifig DX11 / OpenGL behavior. Have you tried to upgrade GPU drivers on that configs to the latest one?

I have similar issues with some textures, they are black now (win 7). But I hadnt time to investigate what happened during conversion to 2.0

Just a guess, I as I had troubles with floating point textures.

 

Maybe it is the texture format? Which formats are you using?

Unfortunately, we can't reproduce such behavior on our demos and samples. Is there any chance to take a look at your scene with black textures? Maybe it caused by some material settings?

There are many dds options.

Have you tried 8 bit, dxt, uncompressed etc. same results?

 

Again, just a guess.
