carlos.lozano Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Hi We're creating cameras for underwater views in version 2.2 of Unigine. The problem is that in previous versions before we could change the color of the water volume material. In this latest version is no longer available color change water. Is there any possibility to change or reduce it to get the underwater views clearer? Thanks
unclebob Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Hi there, Carlos! As we're still working on underwater views, there are some known issues with it (for example, underwater volumetric effect is not correct) yet there are some settings which you can tune in 2.2 release. The process is following: 1) Inherit for right water_global_beaufort_xx material 2) Tune "Fog density" parameter, that should do the trick; 3) Set different "Depth LUT" texture if you want to see different colors on the bottom. Unfortunately, you have to repeat this process for every water_global_beaufort_xx material you want to use in the project.
silent Posted April 13, 2016 Posted April 13, 2016 Hi Carlos, We've slightly improved ObjectWaterGlobal material in 2.2.1 update (added Underwater fog coloring option, for example). It should be useful in your project as well :) How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
