tmorris Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Hi, I am putting in place finishing touches on our moon objects and was wondering if it is possible to use Rendering order on our moon material to get it to render behind the terrain always. I have tried to get it to work but have not had any luck getting the moon to appear behind the terrain with this method. Am I missing something? It is completely possible to get a working moon without this setting but it would be nice not to have push the moon back so far as we have rather large far plane and haze distances set up for our worlds. Thanks.
silent Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Hi Taylor, I'm afraid, the only one working approach how to render moon is currently available in Port Angeles demo. More likely we will create special 'Moon' object in the future releases that will be much easier to control and setup together with scattering. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
