robert.blodgett Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 I've added a SoundSource from a video .ogv file and setup the max and min distances for it, but it doesn't seem to attenuate the volume between the max and min distances. I'm getting a solid loudness no matter where I am in the radius of the sound. Is this a known problem?
silent Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Hi Robert, Have you checked this inside Editor? Could you please attach a simple test scene for reproduction? Thanks! robert.blodgett Posted March 22, 2017 Author Posted March 22, 2017 Here's a test scene demonstrating the problem. Note that the sound at the maximum distance isn't near 0. test_sound.zip
silent Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Hi Robert, Thank you for the test scene. I didn't have a chance to look deeply, but if you will remove sound source from video and use separate audio to play in-sync with video - will it be attenuated in that case? Thanks! silent Posted October 13, 2017 Posted October 13, 2017 Hi Robert, Sorry for the late reply. The sound doesn't attenuate because it have stereo sound source. You need to convert sound to mono in order to use volume attenuation. Thanks!
