About the antialiasing

Hi ,

The sawtooth is still very serious even if  the anti-aliasing use the TAA mode.

This is very serious problem for the rendering,we want to eliminate the sawtooth.

Do you have some way to eliminate the sawtooth or decrease it?

Best Regards,

We can check your test world where you have aliasing and see how we can improve it. Could you please provide a test scene?

Also, TAA works better with higher FPS (if you have 60+ frames per second you will get better anti-aliasing than with 30).

Thanks!

Hi,
I will bump this old thread, beacuse I'm curious - how FPS is related to TAA quality? I thought that if I have lower FPS I will just need to wait friction of a second longer to see full TAA result becuase it's created from previous frames, but result will be the same. What I'm missing in this?

TAA applied almost at the end of frame, so if you have low framerate you will need to wait more (you can see aliasing / ghosting more clearly). With high frame-rate this side effects are rarely visible.

Thanks!
