silent Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Closing Steam and SteamVR completely will solve this issue? VR is working fine on our test stand with 2.6 and 2.6.0.1 SDKs. How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
lightmap Posted November 20, 2017 Author Posted November 20, 2017 (edited) termination of steam.exe and all sub processes with steam_vr does not help - still black screen reinstall sdk 2.6.0.1 reboot PC run app_vive_00 == black screen switch to sdk2.5 run app_vive_00 == all ok updated Vive - same unigine sdk 2.5 when I run oculus without HMD connected, - at least render scene, unlike 2.6/2.6.0.1 - they don't even try to start steam_vr Edited November 20, 2017 by lightmap
lightmap Posted November 22, 2017 Author Posted November 22, 2017 Got Oculus - vr demos runs fine, but not for HTC vive
sebastianbah Posted November 24, 2017 Posted November 24, 2017 Hello, I'm afraid we can't reproduce such issue, so, could you, please, send us some additional information? - Do you use Options -> Stereo 3D parameters in SDK Browser to run VR samples? The following information will surely help us to get to the root of the problem faster: - Full unigine log file. You can find log file here: <UnigineSDK>/bin/log.html - Dxdiag log from your PC. * Press Windows+R keys to open Run window * Paste this line into Open field: dxdiag /t C:\dxdiag.txt * Attach dxdiag.txt to your response. Thanks!
lightmap Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 Hello, sebastianbah using sdk 2.6/2.6.0.1 as default in sdk browser->options->stereo3d = HTC vive connected vive HMD, run sdk->samples->demos->VR template = black screen logs.zip
