[SOLVED] Impostors don't use the last row in image

Hello,

I created an impostor with 4 rows and 4 columns (remaining settings left to default) for the iconic material_ball. To better visualize impostor selection, I colorized each row:

As you can see here, the last row is not used by the billboards (viewed from above):

Note that the grass_impostor_base material *does* use the last row of the image. But billboards_impostor_base doesn't :(

No trouble :)

As an additional request, maybe you could add the possibility for billboards_impostor_base to also support blending between images, just like grass_impostor_base?

And one more question: the impostor images are generated with size 1/1.418, wasting a lot of empty room around the actual images. Is there a particular reason for that?

Hello Amerio.Stephane,

Your issue is fixed, the fix will come in upcoming 2.7.1 release.
I've also added your feature request to our internal tracker, but unfortunately can't give you any ETA on when it will be implemented. 
Empty space in impostor images is just padding used for filtering one image from another in single texture.
