Unigine 2.7: Show shadow cascades doesn't work

Hello,

neither 'render_show_cascades 1' nor 'Helpers->Show Shadow Cascades' is working in our projects.

(It was working in 2.6.1.1. When switching on the cascades visualisation the first time, usually I'm observing a small lag (due to shader compilation most likely), which I think I haven't noticed in 2.7)

Is there a simple fix for that? We are using Windows 7 to 10 and DirectX11 as renderer.

Hi Helmut,

Fix for that issue is already implemented un 2.7.1. 2.7.1 will be released within a week or two. Unfortunately, there is no easy workaround (engine sources needs to be changed).

thank you, it's good to have this soon working again.

Btw, as I'm working now on Shadow map settings, I encountered another tiny issue in the 2.7 Release:

Tracker parameter node.light.shadowOffset maps to a non-existing method of the Light class (setShadowOffset(),  getShadowOffset()), so it should be removed from the

data/core/systems/tracker/parameters/node.parameters

file.
