m.c. Posted August 15, 2018 Posted August 15, 2018 (edited) Hello, I do not know if this is a problem for our terrain only (ESQ), but since version 2.7.x the terrain adjustment tools are a little "insensitive" Smooth smooth didnt respond under brush size 12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3F_kw1VGf8&list=UUEGmquV5a4e_LoJUbVnckmw&index=10 Add and substract tool works only with some points, some does not touch, which makes it impossible to fine-tune the terrain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQwJmCgUl_I&list=UUEGmquV5a4e_LoJUbVnckmw&index=9 Edited August 15, 2018 by m.c.
morbid Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 Hello m.c., we didn't make any changes to terrain brushes. 23 hours ago, m.c. said: Smooth smooth didnt respond under brush size 12. Smooth will do its job only if it has different heights to blur. So you need to make brush size bigger. 23 hours ago, m.c. said: Add and substract tool works only with some point Could be caused by low terrain density. Which world you're editing? I'd like to take a closer look at this. Thank you! How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
demostenes Posted August 16, 2018 Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) We are editing terrain in esqworld.world. Difference to previous versions is, that now we edit terrain global, but before it was object terrain. So little bit different behaviour is maybe caused by this. Terrain is migrated, so it has same resolution as before. Only problem we are facing now is, that we are not able to do small terrain finetuning as before. Edited August 16, 2018 by demostenes
