stas.denisov Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Hey, congratulation on the Community version launch, and thank you for this. I had my hands on the engine before and it's really something else. So far, I see the latest version is based on .NET Core 2.2.3, which is the end-of-life version as for today. Is there any way to manually upgrade to .NET Core 3? If not, please, consider this for the next release if possible. Cheers. 1
silent Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 Hi Stas, That's in our roadmap. Need some testing and I believe it would be available within couple of months (or maybe earlier). Thanks! 1 How to submit a good bug report --- FTP server for test scenes and user uploads: ftp://files.unigine.com user: upload password: 6xYkd6vLYWjpW6SN
binstream Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 As far as I know it looks good for 2.12 release, but definitely requires much more testng. 1
stas.denisov Posted April 10, 2020 Author Posted April 10, 2020 Oh, that would be great, thanks! I'm in general pretty happy with it since I integrated .NET Core into Unreal Engine myself about a few months ago. (You can find some useful info there by the way about tooling and the approach itself). 1
