-video_fullscreen Fullscreen mode 0 is a windowed mode
1 is a fullscreen mode
2 is a fullwindow mode when an application window is rendered without decorations

Mode 2 still has borders (a windowhead bar).

So. We are starting it like ... see attachment.

On a screen with 1920x1920 native resolution.

I reproduced changed behavior of video_fullscreen 2 with 2.11. I get a native resolution instead of specified.

May I ask you is there a practical need in launching application in this mode instead of a windowed one?

We dont want the boders when we work with LED walls.

What do you mean instead of windowed? It is windowed without borders, isnt it?

Yes, you're right. I meant "regular" windowed window with border.

Do you have any deadlines for this project?

End of August.

Actually, we use this mode very often. Not only on LED wall, but sometimes, if you wanna keep the app running beside other apps.

But NO Border is definitely something we needed, need and will need ;).

Pls bring that back ;)

Thanks.

May I ask you to explain the full use case?

You have a number of FullHD LED panels and you're running a smaller engine windows. Why not use native FullHD resolution? How are you stacking these windows?

We'll be able to fix this in 2.12 (Summer 2020).

The usecase for LED wall together with some specific image processors is, a 'canvas' which the image processor provides. Mostly Full HD, 4K, basically a normative image resolution output.

The resolution (native) of the LED walls we are utilizing is alsway a non standard resolution lets say 1150x1150.

For displaying this renderoutput, in case 1150, we would utilize a 4K 'canvas', render the Unigine windowed into 1150x1150. The image processor 'crops' the 4K canvas and only outputs the mapped 1150x1150 pixels 1:1 onto the LEDs.

We want a 1:1 mapping, rather than a scaled image.
