edit Mask using Landscape Brush Edit

I am currently editing the mask of City.

But if I change the detail somthing in the landscape tool and generate it again, I think editing the city mask will disappear.


Is there a way to preserve the edited mask?

Hello!

Unfortunately, there is no such functionality, every time you generate a project from the Landscape Tool, user data will be overwritten.

You probably could try to backup "/data/project_name/details" folder and then copy it back after generation will be finished (with closed editor for sure) but you shouldn't rely on this method, because lots of collision might occur if the changes were significant.
