It's dark at 13:00.

The setup goes wrong somewhere.

Hi
what is the entity's geo-location? (from witch you can see night at 13)

geocoordinates of default entity are probably unknown at the start - try to set the entity in real geocoordinates (not necessarily in the origin)

Even when an entity is within its geographic range, it is brightened at night...

The same is true for creating and running the same GeodeticPivot on the new default ig project.

When creating ig with 2.14.1.1 version, ig_config file appears to be creating 2.14.0.0 version.
But it seems to be replaced automatically to 2.14.1.0 when the project is first launched.

end Is it normal for logs to display 2.14.1.0 or 2.14.0.0?

i compare IG result and Stellarium(free open source planetarium) - results look roughly similar

location.png

location near your pivot (Hwaseong-si 37°12'24.6"N 126°49'00.9"E or 37.206822, 126.816903

stellarium_morning.pngig_morning.png

sunrise 2004-04-06 at 22 UTC0 or 7 UTC+9

(console command datetime show current datetime in both format)

stellarium_day.pngig_day.png

noon at 4 UTC0 or 13 UTC+9

stelarium_evening.png

ig_evening.png

and sunset at 9 UTC0 or 18 UTC+9

maybe you check with a debugging camera(ig_debug 1)?  the geographic position is not updated for it.

Or does the sun in the world have any additional settings? check on an empty project please.

UPD: just noticed that in the stellarium the camera was looking to the south but not to the north. but this does not affect the result.

it's same with debugging camera.

I understand it.

this time is utc 07:00 ?  image.png.b2778b7e7d41eff51fdb8c766d4918c8.png

korea time is utc+9.   then, utc 07:00 is  16:00 of korea time.?

However, if time_zone is set to 0 or 9 in ig_config, nothing changes in ig.

There are very slight changes. There seems to be an hour or two difference.

I'm sorry, I'm really stupid.
this fix was not included in 2.14.1.1, but I have erroneously marked that it was included.

please set timezone 90 instead of 9 (9 * 10 damn, we lost of zero...)

once again I apologize for your wasted time.
