Error when trying to save maps from resource editor

When trying to save out Normal, Parallax and Height maps from the NormalMapper in Resource editor, the files will not save.

 

the error is as follows:

 

Image::save():unknown format of "c:/maps/filename_n" file

 

Using windows 7 64 bit and resource editor version from UnigineTools-2011-08-12

I solved this - you will get this error if you do not manually add an extension for the filetype to the filename when saving.. merely selecting a file type from the drop down list is not enough.

 

i would consider this a bug.

Yep, right now the drop-down list just shows available options, but I'll pass the word to our developers.
