Ben_93 Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 Its been a long while since I had the time to make some more personal projects, so im very happy to share a little project i've been working on in my spare time over the past few weeks. This is a 4km2 landscape environment was created using Gaea, which I am using for the heightmap and all masks which dictate where the vegetation spawns. This little project was a great chance to improve my Gaea skills and using some more detailed vegetation masks to create a more natural looking landscape. Vegetation assets are from Unigine's vegetation pack and Quixel Megascans. 3D scanned rock assets and landscape textures are also from Quixel Megascans. Its been a while since I've used Unigine, so was great using the new PSDGI which helps with the GI near the camera and performance is a lot better now with the DLSS implementation. A link to a small cinematic on my YouTube channel : (https://youtu.be/NKh-u935i3g?si=MN0D7VKrPurjH26m) A link to my ArtStation : (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/WX0OLN) Let me know if anyone has any feedback! Many thanks, Ben 8
