Alba.Tutorials Posted August 1, 2025 Posted August 1, 2025 (edited) Hey everyone! I made a YouTube tutorial for the Sandworm Tool, based on the official documentation, some helpful info I found here on the forum, and a lot of trial and error while figuring things out myself. I know this tool can be a bit tricky at first, and since I really enjoy working with maps and geodata, I wanted to share what I’ve learned. Hopefully, it helps someone get a clearer understanding of how to use it. Here's a list of links I used in my video: Sandworm Tool docs (official): https://developer.unigine.com/ru/docs/latest/editor2/sandworm/?rlang=cpp TMS sources list: https://developer.unigine.com/forum/topic/8210-sandworm-tms-sources/ Terrain types in UNIGINE (official docs): https://developer.unigine.com/ru/docs/latest/objects/objects/terrain/?rlang=cpp Global Mapper Pro (GMP): https://www.bluemarblegeo.com/global-mapper-pro/ Mapbox - TMS imagery source: https://www.mapbox.com/ How to use Mapbox in Sandworm: https://developer.unigine.com/ru/docs/latest/editor2/sandworm/sources/?rlang=cpp OSM vector data - BBBike: https://extract.bbbike.org/ OSM vector data - Overpass Turbo: https://overpass-turbo.eu/ OSM key list for custom vector data: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/ Landscape object generation add-on (UNIGINE Store): https://store.unigine.com/add-on/da902233-b020-48ac-a0de-b7dda1822487/description Raster formats supported (GDAL): https://gdal.org/en/stable/drivers/raster/index.html Vector formats supported (GDAL): https://gdal.org/en/stable/drivers/vector/index.html Edited August 1, 2025 by alba 4
